The wall-decor buying checklist
Turn an inspiring picture into a short, checkable brief before spending money.
Write the dimensions that matter
Record the clear wall width and height, frame outside measurements, projection from the wall and the chosen gaps. A picture size, package size and installed outside size are different measurements. If the official source is inconsistent, ask for confirmation rather than picking the number you prefer.
Match the exact item
Copy the manufacturer, model, color and size. Our Umbra Luna record highlights inconsistent diameter information and is deliberately unavailable as a planner preset. A similarly named product in a retailer search may be a different version.
Check environment and fixing
Keep a question list for the wall finish, bathroom conditions, hardware, load and frame-back compatibility. The planner supplies no structural or moisture assessment. Do not assume a decorative item is appropriate for every bathroom because a retailer categorizes it as home decor.
Save a useful record
Print your layout and add the exact product instructions after choosing a model. Take a final measurement before ordering, and check return terms at the retailer. Our Amazon links are ordinary searches without a commission tracking ID; confirm the actual listing rather than assuming the first result matches.
Put the measurements on paper.
Test a single frame or a group of three against your usable wall. The planner does not approve installation or moisture suitability.
